Plane ticket for a wedding and brushing my teeth

Well, it was supposedly my plane ticket to go home to attend a friend's wedding as a bridesmaid. But my friend called off the wedding, which resulted to me asking my boss to cancel my approved leave request on Jan 13th. Thus led to me having a plane ticket I need to rebook to have a use of it.

It has been more than a month already that I could not make up my mind on my plan to rebook it. I was contemplating on rebooking it for my planned flight home in March or rebook it for a vacation on a neighboring country in Southeast Asia. Somehow, I just had this feeling that I could not decide because I was waiting for something which I dont know what, that's why I kept delaying rebooking it.

While I was brushing my teeth this morning I noticed one of my dental brackets went loose from my tooth. Then that's it, like a crystal clear sign I was led to a perfect decision -- I will not rebook my plane ticket, I will use the exact itinerary.I am going home on January 13th to attend not a wedding but to attend to my problems -- have my braces fixed, get my SSN for my US Income tax return due in February, and another one most important thing. Funny that my braces would be the trigger for me to decide to go home again.
So it would seem that I would be going home because I need to see my dentist as soon as possible and go find my SSN somewhere stacked in my mess in my room but actually it would be more than that. I need to be home to be there for my family, in support of my brother who will be making a drastic turning point in our lives. I need to be there to support my parents to help them accept this new fate of ours. I need to be home to be an anchor in the storm we are about to face.

So that's it -- Jan 13th, coincidentally it is Friday the 13th.
It will be a scary trip home. If I were a child it will be because children are scared of seeing the dentist, but I'm an adult now, so it is not the dentist that scares me, it is the fact that someone, my brother in particular, would now have to become an adult whether he likes it or not.

Fate is playing tricks on me again.

How do you...

...make even the most banal things and places feel so magical.
...make me laugh my heart out at crazy ideas that normally would embarrass me.
...make me feel like I'm so beautiful even when I think I am at my ugliest.
...make me feel that I am worth all the hassle.
...know what will touch my heart.
...say how much you love me by just looking into my eyes.

Please teach them to the man I am going to marry.
