On a side note, if you like the mixture of English and French, then you should seriously consider Montreal or Ottawa / Gatineau (two cities, in two provinces, but effectively just one city - a river runs through it) - where you get a nice mix of English and French (I know there are a lot of Filipinos in Ottawa, not sure about Montreal).

Merci beaucoup, Richard.
j'ai annoncé mon nom déjà, ici.
I often get emails in french at work because some thought i was french because of my name. I didn't know my name is french before then, and im sure my mother was not aware of it either when she picked that name for me.

Miswa and missy, maraming salamat! mwah!

Your surname is Spanish in origin, not French. I have no idea why people would send you e-mails in French. Oops! Didn't notice the earlier one (or maybe I wasn't paying attention).

Your first name could be French, though.

yup, my surname is indeed Spanish. But what I meant is that my first name is french. So French first name + Spanish surname = people thinking perhaps im defitely European and most probably french.
